Founder Nancy Smith Nancy Smith has been an
interim innkeeper and an innkeeper. After starting her interim innkeeping
business in 1986, she experienced so many inquiries
about her business that she started teaching hands-on
workshops for aspiring interim innkeepers and
innkeepers. She's taught informational innkeeping
classes for the Learning Exchange in Sacramento, CA,
has been an associate member of the California
Association of Bed & Breakfast Inn's and a speaker at
various state and national conferences. Nancy lives in
Northern California and continues to travel with her
interim innkeeping. |

Sam
Neft is the consummate Hospitality Professional. Sam
received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Hotel and
Restaurant Management in 1980 from the California
Polytechnic University of Pomona. With over thirty years
practical and theoretical hospitality experiences, Sam has
a wealth of dynamic information to share. He has taught many
seminars in the past, and continues to develop career paths
through the Bed & Breakfast Innstitute. Sam is the Managing
Partner at the Candlelight Inn in the legendary Napa Valley. |

Mariana
Smith has over fifteen years of experience in the
Hospitality Industry. She owned a small farm-house
style bed and breakfast on a island in Lake Erie before
moving closer to her family. Today, she is an innkeeper
at one of Napa, California's renowned bed and breakfast
inns, where her knowledge of food, its presentation and
attention to detail, continues the inn's famous
tradition. As a natural teacher, her classes are
informative, lighthearted, and fun. |
